New Delhi, Amritsar and Dalhousie Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Today on arrival at Delhi by our representative. After refreshment take a sight seeing tour of Old Delhi visiting here The important placesi include the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple. Evening transfer to the railway station to board the scheduled train for Amritsar. Overnight onboard.
Day 2
Morning arrival and transfer to the hotel. After relaxation visit Golden Temple - the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. Then visit Jalianwalla Bagh- Martyrs’ Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar. Late afternoon visit Wagah Border to watch Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Ascertain the timings before you leave to see this spectacle since these are changed seasonally. Wagah is the only land border open between Pakistan and India. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Today morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Dalhousie, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Dalhousie: Established in the year 1854, by the British Governor General Lord Dalhousie, it is one the best hill stations in India. Visit Subhash Baoli, Panchpula and Bakorta Hill. Take your lunch and move for Satdhara. Located at the altitude of 2036 meters, it is tranquil place, ideal for passing some moments of peace. The spectacular snow-covered Dhauladhar mountains are also visible form this enchanting town. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
Spend the day in visiting the magnificent churches of Dalhousie. Amongst the most popular ones are St. Andrew's Church and St. Patrick's Church at Balun, St. Francis Church at Subhash Chowk and St. John's Church at Gandhi Chowk. By evening, return to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 5
Morning after breakfast checkout and transfer to Khajjiar. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Here explore famous Himalayan sight, surrounded by dense deodar forests and a lake at its centre with a floating island; also visit a small temple with a golden spire and a Golf course. See Ajit Singh Smarak and Satdhara Sparkling springs. Free time for shopping in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Dharamshala. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Later visit Dal Lake, Dalai Lama Monastery and Bhagsunag Temple. Enjoy shopping at Macleodganj bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7
Visit Jwalaji Temple at Jwalamukhi and Tapovan Chinmay Mission ashram at Siddhabadi.
Day 8
Morning checkout and drive to Manali. On the way you will come across scenic spots like Pandoh Dam, Mandi, Beas River, and Dashehra Maidan. Optionally en route you can visit Shawl factories to purchase warm cloth material. Arrive in the evening and transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9
After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Manali town, visiting Hadimba Temple, dedicated to goddess, Manu Temple of Manu Rishi (Holy man) who was the creator of human race on the earth, Club house, a picnic spot, . Tibetan monasteries, 3 colourful monasteries, on the bank of beas river you can buy Tibetan handicraft over here, Vashist Kund, it is a small village located on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is another Temple of Lord Ram here, if time permits you can visit to Mountaineering institute. In the evening visit at the famous mall road to enjoy the atmosphere of the hill station. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Today morning after breakfast take an excursion to ROHTANG PASS (3979 m): Rohtang pass on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular Mountain View. Rohtang, it is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is a gatway to Ladakh. En route Stop over to enjoy breathtaking beauty of Kothi, Rahalla Falls to enjoy the sight of fascinating water falls, and Marrhi. Continue to drive to Rohtang. There are a beautiful sight of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley. Slightly to the left are the twin peaks of the Geypan. Enjoy skiing and trekking and snow caped mountains. Later drive back to Manali. Evening free for leisure and relax. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11
Morning after breakfast day is free for leisure, relaxation and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel. Free time for shopping. Enjoy get together with your travel companions in the evening.
Day 12
Departure to Shimla. Enroute visit Vaishnomata Mandir at Kullu. Enroute pass by Pandoh Dam and Beas Sutlaj Link Project. Arrive at Shimla in the evening.
Day 13
Morning drive to Kufri 16 kms, here photograph yourself in Pahari or Himachal outfit, available on hire. You can also enjoy horse riding or Yak riding (on your own). Afternoon proceed to Naldhera, which is famous for its Golf Course & scenic beauty. On a clear day you can also view the Kailash Ranges. Later visit the famous Mall Road that still has some building built in the British Style. Evening will be at your leisure. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 14
Arrive at Chandigarh - the capital of Punjab and Haryana, the only Indian City to have been designed and planned by a single architect - Le Corbusier. Visit Rock Garden, Rose Garden and Sukhana Lake. Free for shopping in the evening.
Day 15
Arrive at H. Nizamuddin station, Delhi. Board the train/flight for your hometown. Tour concludes.
